Fractional CMO & COO / AI, CRM & Operations

Reinvent how your business
runs.

Skaris is a senior-led fractional practice for founders and SMBs. We lead marketing, audit and integrate AI, and rebuild the CRM and operating system underneath — as one accountable operator, not a committee of vendors.

Our purpose.

The premise

Skeptical of marketing
agencies? Good.
You should be.

Too many firms charge premium rates for slide decks and junior-level execution. Skaris replaces the agency theatre with a lean fractional practice built for small and mid-sized businesses — one operator across marketing, AI and the systems underneath, not three separate vendors billing separately.

We don't hand you a to-do list and walk away. We embed into your business, audit the bottlenecks — commercial, technical and operational — and build the infrastructure you need to scale, sized precisely to your budget and your goals.

01

Zero fluff

If a strategy can't be explained in three bullet points, it's a bad strategy.

02

Revenue over retainers

We measure success by the value you realise, not by impressions or activity reports.

03

Execution-led

We don't just tell you what's broken. We get access, log in, and fix it.

One system. Every discipline
wired together.

Our Services

Fractional Leadership

A senior marketing and operations leader embedded in your business part-time — not a consultant who hands you a deck and leaves. You get someone who can make the call and own the result.

Plus AI search visibility — being found inside AI answers, not only in search results, as buyers increasingly stop clicking through to websites at all.

One System.

Run separately, these four are four vendors and four invoices. Run as one system under one senior operator, they're the thing that actually moves the number on your P&L — which is the whole argument for a fractional practice over hiring four different specialists.

One system
Four pieces. One operating system. Demand becomes pipeline. Signals become automation. Activity becomes one record. Numbers become decisions. One system. One operator.

A fractional operator
versus an internal hire.

Time to value

Extended lag

90+ days lost to recruitment, interviewing and lengthy onboarding.

Instant launch

Week 1 audit. Campaigns go live by week 2.

Talent capability

Generalist constraints

One hire expected to master strategy, creative, data and technical media at once.

Leadership plus operators

Senior CMO/COO strategy, backed by dedicated functional specialists.

Capital efficiency

High overhead

Salary, benefits, payroll taxes and long-term HR liabilities.

Predictable operating expense

A clean B2B service line. Zero employment liability.

Infrastructure

Incremental software cost

Out-of-pocket spend on tooling, licences and professional development.

Turnkey systems

Immediate access to a working stack, AI integrations and battle-tested playbooks.

Continuity

Turnover exposure

Institutional knowledge and momentum walk out with a single resignation.

Guaranteed continuity

Continuous execution with no single point of failure.

Strategic focus

Administrative friction

Bandwidth consumed by internal bureaucracy and ad-hoc requests.

Wired to revenue

Every action tied directly to a number on your P&L.

Fit

We'd rather tell you early if this isn't right.

A good fit

  • Established businesses with proven demand and a real marketing budget
  • Founders acting as the de-facto CMO with no hours left in the week
  • Teams with capable executors but no senior owner of the number
  • B2B and considered-purchase B2C, where the sales cycle rewards good systems
  • Leaders willing to give real access to data, spend and tooling

Not a fit

  • Pre-product or pre-revenue, still searching for the market
  • Looking for the cheapest possible execution vendor
  • Wanting impressions, awards and vanity metrics
  • Expecting a turnaround without changing anything internally
  • Unwilling to share the commercial numbers the work depends on

How we're built

Senior in-house.
Specialists on call.

“Most owners already know what isn't working. What they don't have is someone senior with the time to go and fix it — in the marketing, in the systems, or in both.”

Skaris runs lean on purpose. Strategy, systems and day-to-day execution sit in-house with senior operators — no junior hand-off, and no account layer between you and the people doing the work.

Behind that sits an established partner network: specialists we bring in when a project calls for category depth we don't keep on the bench full time.

Through an established partner network, Skaris brings in operators with deep category experience in wine, golf, luxury tourism, transportation & mobility, and clinics & private practices.

Questions

Before you
get in touch.

Is this only marketing?

No. Skaris started as fractional CMO work and has grown into a broader fractional C-level practice: marketing and growth, an AI audit and the integrations that follow it, and the CRM and operating-system work that holds it all together. You can engage us for one pillar or all five — the senior operator and the standard of work don't change.

What exactly is a fractional CMO?

A senior marketing leader working with you part-time, on a monthly basis, instead of as a full-time hire. You get the strategic judgement and the hands-on execution at a fraction of an executive salary — without the recruitment lag, the equity conversation or the long-term employment liability.

How is this different from hiring an agency?

An agency sells you deliverables. We take ownership of the number. In practice that means real access to your systems, data and spend; decisions made inside your business rather than presented to it; and nobody sitting between you and the person doing the work.

What does it cost?

Engagements are a fixed monthly fee, set by scope rather than billed by the hour, so the cost is predictable and there are no surprise line items. We quote after the intro call, once we both know what actually needs fixing.

How long is a typical engagement?

Most run between three and twelve months. The first month is diagnosis and quick wins; the value compounds after that, as the infrastructure lands. There is no multi-year tie-in — engagements are monthly, and you can stop with a month's notice.

Do you work with our existing team and agencies?

Yes, and usually that is the point. We often lead an in-house team, hold existing agency relationships to a higher standard, or do both at once. We are not here to replace people who are already doing good work.

What happens in the first thirty days?

Week one is a full audit of your funnel, stack, AI readiness, data and spend, delivered as a written bottleneck map. Week two, the priority fixes ship and the first campaigns go live. Weeks three and four wire reporting to revenue. The audit is yours whether or not we continue.

Which industries do you work in?

Less by sector than by situation. Most of our clients are family businesses, owner-led SMBs and single-owner companies — the ones where the owner is still, in practice, the marketing department. We have particular depth in wine, golf and luxury tourism, and we make room for small local businesses with a real purpose behind them. What they get is enterprise-grade method, sized for a business their size.

Where do you work?

Skaris works with clients in Bulgaria and Spain, and remotely with companies across Europe. Conversations, reporting and campaign work happen in Bulgarian, English or Spanish.
